Introducing the Breitling Windrider Headwind (discontinued, production date 2001-2005) and the Breitling aeromarine SuperOcean Heritage38. I find these 2 models one of the cleanest simpliest classy looking dials that Breitling has ever made. I also find most Breitling models that their dials are too complicated and too busy. The Headwind is 43.7mm with a day and date configuration and has a water resistance of 500m/1650ft. It’s using the Breitling 45 caliber 25 jewels which is based off of ETA 2834-2 movement. It has a nice high polished case with a brushed bezel. It’s sitting on a divers pro strap which I bought the watch second hand and it came with it. I ordered a leather strap with deployant because I don’t really like the rubber strap as it’s a tiny bit too big for my small wrist.
The SuperOcean Heritage is 38mm and sits on a classic mesh bracelet. Breitling made this model as a tribute for the SuperOcean from 1950’s. It has a nice polished case with a 120 click nice finished bezel. It has a water resistance of 200m/660ft. It’s movement is Breitling 37 caliber 27 jewels which is based off of ETA 2895-2 movement. It’s looks is quite similair to the Rolex’s Submariner but using sticks as hour markers instead of dots and has no cyclops. About the same weight as the Submariner but I find the SuperOcean Heritage a bit cleaner and classier look then the Submariner. Anyways here’s a close look at the 2.
